All companies selling products on the European market must be able to demonstrate that the products comply with applicable EU directives. You as an importer or manufacturer who has products that fall under the scope of EN 62368-1 must be able to demonstrate that the product meets the requirements.
Welcome to the training in IEC / EN 62368-1. Here we go through the requirements that are applicable to products that fall under the standard. You will learn to understand the basic requirements of the standard and the meaning of the requirements placed on your products. The knowledge of design requirements helps you to reduce the risks of expensive development or reconstructions projects and to get your products on the market faster. In this course, we will address the changes with the new standard and how it will affect your work towards compliance. Our course leader is a member also attending international standardization meetings and thus has the latest information about this new standard.
About the training
The training initially deals with the overall regulations regarding product liability and CE marking. We go into depth in the standard and highlight important design and safety requirements for Europe and parts of the rest of the world, what they mean and how to ensure that the product meets the requirements.

Previous knowledge
No previous knowledge of the standard is required, but if you want to prepare for the course, we recommend that you take a look at chapters 3-4 in the standard.
